Five things you need to know about the new ALT1-C

Not only was the original ALT1-C the first Bremont ever designed, but it has become an iconic part of the Bremont line-up since launch back in 2007. Over the years the ALT1-C collection has been extended with some slightly dressier polished variants on the original design, whilst the satin finish hasn’t been altered in 11 years, until now.

1. PAYING TRIBUTE TO THE RAF

With 2018 marking 100 years of British military aviation, the ALT1-C/BL has been redesigned in the blue synonymous with the RAF. The blue pantone celebrates this landmark year, befitting for a brand steeped in aviation heritage.

2. SUPER-LUMINOVA® COATED HANDS

More elegant and contemporary hands inlaid with Super-LumiNova®, previously only seen within the ALT1-C Polished watches, adorn these new classics. This ensures optimal visibility in the poorest of lighting conditions.

3. EXHIBITION CASE BACK

The hardened stainless steel case features an enlarged exhibition case back constructed of anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal. This provides better visibility of the beautifully finished movement.

4. 42 HOUR POWER RESERVE

The ALT1-Cs features an impeccably modified, chronometer-rated Valjoux 7750-SO BI AC movement with a 42 hour power reserve. Each timepiece is individually serial numbered with accompanying C.O.S.C certification.

5. HAND BUILT IN HENLEY-ON-THAMES

Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the re-invigoration of watchmaking on British shores. As with all Bremont timepieces, the ALT1-C is hand-built in our facility in Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire.
