The sporty automatic wristwatch has a progressive design which shows a certain irony. The curves of the white silver-plated dial are reminiscent of a racetrack, while the elongated date window presents yesterday, today and tomorrow all at once. Wide fields of superluminova flank the hour numerals and make the watch legible at night as well. At the heart of this 41 mm diameter timepiece is the innovative DUW 6101 movement.
Statement by the Jury
With intelligent humour, this wristwatch is reminiscent of the design of early classical sports cars – successfully implemented using contemporary technology.
